The 3rd Death By Numbers Film Festival is on in Taipei from 8-10 October 2010. There are screenings in Hsinchu and on university campuses. The films and documentaries are on themes related to the death penalty and justice. A number of the films have English-language subtitles or soundtrack. The next meeting of the Amnesty English speaking group is at 7:00pm on Thursday 25 March 2010. This meeting will include a screening of the documentary Born into Brothels about the children of sex workers in the red light district of Calcutta, India. Representatives from the Garden of Hope and ECPAT in Taiwan will also attend the meeting to talk about their work.
